Chef Christina has a multitude of culinary experiences in her 20 year journey through the hospitality industry. Her career started just after her graduation from the Culinary Institute of America at the prestigious Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in NYC. From there, her path has lead her to many successful restaurants, such as The Modern with Danny Meyer and the American Table Cafe and Bar with Marcus Samuelsson both in NYC. Leading corporate accounts, such as her six year employment with the premier catering company, Restaurant Associates in NYC, has prepared her to handle major contracts and financial obligations.
Although modest in nature, Chef Christina is force in the kitchen. Her eclectic ethnic background has given her the foundation needed to create her fun filled menu. Options like her southern inspired Maple Fried Oatmeal served with Lemon Curd and Orange Crème or the Relleńo de Papa Benedict, which is a Puerto Rican potato croquette stuffed with meat and cheese is topped with Poached Eggs and a Chimichurri Hollandaise are a few items to get the pallet stimulated.
Her strong belief in supporting our local small businesses coupled with her determination to serve organic, antibiotic and hormone free, farm raised food at an affordable price is her mission. Her personality speaks through her food; fun, witty, interesting, and entirely all delicious.
